The Gaia Color Series is the core product line of Gaianotes.
These are solvent-based acrylic resin paints, commonly referred to as lacquer-type paints. Unlike water-based paints, they dry quickly and form a strong coating.
While they do have a noticeable odor, they are considered the most suitable type of paint for modeling. They work perfectly with airbrushes and produce a smooth, professional finish.
The metallic colors in particular are highly regarded, as their fine pigment particles provide a realistic metallic sheen.

The NAZCA Color Series was developed and color-supervised by professional modeler NAOKI, who is active both in Japan and internationally.
This lineup reproduces the exact colors NAOKI himself uses, allowing anyone to achieve his signature tones without mixing paints.
These colors are especially suited for character models.
The Ex-Color Series features large 50ml bottles and uses higher-grade resins and pigments than standard Gaia Colors.
Ex-Clear, despite being a lacquer-based paint, produces a thick, glossy, urethane-like clear coat that has earned strong support from many users.The white and black colors also use premium pigments, offering excellent coverage and a beautiful, refined finish.
The G-Surfacer Series is used as a primer base for model painting.
Typically, surfacers are made by thinning putty, but Gaianotes’ surfacers are formulated closer to paint for ease of use.
A surfacer helps paint adhere better to the surface and highlights any scratches or imperfections in the base material.
While maintaining these essential functions, Gaianotes' surfacers are designed to be as smooth and easy to apply as regular paint.
Gaianotes also offers a range of thinners and cleaning solvents for use with Gaia Colors.
Since the lineup may be a bit complex, here is a simple explanation:
T-01 Gaia Color Thinner: The standard thinner for Gaia Colors. Use this for general purposes.
T-06 Brush Master: A thinner containing a retarder that slightly slows the drying time.
Whitening can occur when airbrushing in humid conditions. By slowing the drying time from the start, it can help prevent most of the whitening effect. The slower drying also reduces brush marks, making it suitable for hand painting.
T-07 Moderate: A modified version of T-06 that includes fragrance to reduce solvent odor.
It also has a slower drying time and a more pleasant smell.
T-09 Metallic Master: A thinner designed to enhance the metallic sheen when airbrushing metallic colors.
It can also be used with regular colors.
NP003 Pro Use Thinner: Co-developed with NAOKI, this high-strength thinner offers superior dissolving power.
It provides excellent paint adhesion to plastic and is considered the highest-performance thinner in the lineup.
